This holiday tradition started at Hess’s department store and continued at Bon-Ton, which donated Pip to the Allentown Economic Development Corporation.

After the historic landmark’s renovation in 2003, the Liberty Bell Museum acquired the rights to Pip the Mouse and its original audio soundtrack. In 2006, the museum partnered with the Allentown Public Library to digitize the original audio soundtrack. Today, the Pip and Liberty Bell program runs for 35-40 minutes.
